In the House of Vintage Cognacs "Tavria" expecting a very high quality of the grapes harvest

On Ukraine's largest wine-producing areas - the vineyards of the House of vintage cognacs "Tavria" -  the harvest 2015 has begun. This year wasn’t easy for winemakers for giving care of the vineyards. According to the chief agronomist of the House of vintage cognacs "Tavria" Rita Dyakov, this year's winter has stood unstable, spring annoyed by frost and summer by storms and rain. But it is in these years, the vineyards are often portrayed winemakers surprises for hard work - in terms of quality of grapes a unique year, according to experts of "Tavria”. 1400 hectares of its own vineyards, the company expects to collect about 25 thousand tons of grapes. In the vineyards of "Tavria" in the vicinity of the planet's ecological gems - Reserve "Askania Nova" - grows more than 30 varieties of grapes, many of which are unique not only for Ukraine, but for Europe. The first vines were ripped off with bunches of early varieties, such as "Muscat Odessa", "Citron Magarach", "Dove", "gift Magarach" and other. The largest Ukrainian producer and exporter of the best brandies are made according to the traditional French technology, House of vintage cognacs "Tavria" in the European tradition will make full preparation of barrels and grape spirits of this year's harvest until 1st of April. An essential part of them was decided to send on vintage cognacs of long ageing - the main specialization of the company and pride. "The quality of the grapes this year is that we would like to make the most of it to produce our best vintage and collection cognacs. Remember this year - after 8 years, the grapes sparkle in all colors of vintage cognacs "Oriana", and after 28 - in the magnificent "Imperial".
